Own Your Achievements Without Feeling Like You’re Bragging

Does talking about your own achievements make you cringe a little?

Many of us are perfectly comfortable celebrating other people - but when it comes to talking about our own successes, we worry about sounding arrogant, showing off or being judged.

In this short video, I explore why self-promotion can feel so uncomfortable, and why staying quiet about your achievements can sometimes hold you back.

Try reframing self-promotion as simply communicating the facts:

What did you do?
What changed?
What was your contribution?

You don’t need to exaggerate or become someone you’re not. You just need to stop making yourself smaller.

Because it’s not bragging if it’s based on facts.

What achievement could you talk about more confidently?
