Creating Space to Think: Why Journalling Matters
Mental overload doesn’t usually come from one big decision. It builds quietly through the hundreds of small ones you make every day - what to prioritise, how to respond, what can wait.
Over time, that constant mental noise leads to decision fatigue, reduced clarity and a sense that your brain is always “on”.
In this video, I talk about journalling as a simple, practical practice to take into 2026. Not as a diary. Not as something that needs to be neat or insightful. Just a few intentional minutes to get thoughts out of your head and onto the page.
Journalling creates space to slow your thinking, release pressure and notice patterns you might otherwise miss. It helps you reconnect with what you actually need - not what the day is demanding of you.
There are no rules. Pen and paper, notes app, or voice notes all work. One sentence is enough.
If you’re leading, supporting others or making constant decisions, this small habit can make a big difference to how you think, feel and show up in the year ahead.
